Ship Visits – Princess Cruises & Oceania Vista:
One of the highlights of the trip was visiting Sky Princess and Oceania Vista. We had the chance to explore life onboard, discovering stunning cabins, luxurious pools, and elegant restaurants. The attention to detail on both ships was impressive, and to top it all off, we were treated to a delicious three-course lunch. It was the perfect opportunity to experience firsthand what our clients can look forward to when they set sail.
CLIA Sail away Party – A Night to Remember:
The CLIA Sail away Party was an absolute blast! It was a fun-filled evening featuring a delicious buffet, lively entertainment, and fantastic live acts. The atmosphere was electric, a real celebration of the cruise community. It was so lovely to see everyone come together, share stories, and enjoy the spirit of cruising.
Networking Trade Fair – Learning and Connecting:
The Networking Trade Fair gave me the chance to meet with suppliers, learn more about their products, and discover what exciting developments are on the horizon. It was both informative and inspiring, a reminder of how dynamic and forward-thinking the cruise industry continues to be.
New to Selling Cruise Day – Expanding My Knowledge:
As someone newer to the cruise sector, the “New to Selling Cruise” day was invaluable. I gained a deeper understanding of the different cruise lines, from luxury to expedition styles, and how each offers a unique experience for travelers. It’s knowledge I can now pass on to my clients with confidence and enthusiasm.
Final Thoughts:
I thoroughly enjoyed my first CLIA Cruise Conference. It was informative, inspiring, and full of unforgettable moments. The Networking Fair, ship visits, and Sailaway Party were definite highlights. I also loved meeting Lisa, who looked after us so well, and connecting with the lovely girls from different branches.
